BEWARE on ebay

Recently my (item# 190179017043) 3rd last ebay purchase was sent to me (within like the last month.) Now like most people I buy from on ebay I ALWAYS check out their feedback even if I have to go back 30 pages to find the one negative comment someone left. Now I got the item and like normal I left my feedback: Item is a bootleg. I want a refund, MAY consider mutually taking feedback away.

Now notice that I say I want a refund and THEN I MAY consider taking my feedback back. Anyhows...I get this back from the seller: Not a nice deal. anyway, thanks

Message from seller: Please Accept our Great Apology. We know we did something wrong to you. Would you mind to forgive and withdraw negative feedback each other? Sorry again. thank you very much. have a nice day.

This pretty much say's they ADMIT that they apparently know that what they are doing is wrong etc...So in a long story short I feel that they purposefully gave me negative feedback so If I wanted to save myself from having something negative on my feedback list I will HAVE to withdraw it. Which I'm not.

Emails about this item (there are some more NOW):

I have emailed with ebay about this, taken this to the "resolution" center and also reported this seller to http://www.econsumer.gov/

I hope to warn people/collectors from this person, I wanted to just confirm that this person does sell bootlegs as there were as you can see above in the feedback myself. I'm actually kinda sad that I did and should have trusted myself. This has seriously damaged my ebay buying thoughts, I probably will just stick to my friends who sell on there and people I have bought from before that sell only LEGIT items.

Ebay/Paypal wants me to SEND the bootlegged item BACK to this person with my own FUCKEN MONEY!...HELL FUCK OFF HEY!....I am not paying out of my own pocket for something that they will just pawn off onto some other person.

I was just talking to my Mum about this and we have decided to just RTS it, also Mum has pointed out that the figurine is broken...Lovely right?... Either way I am really not satisfied with the service I have gotten from the seller, ebay or paypal. I JUST WANT THIS PERSON GONE. Seriously how can someone SLEEP at night selling people bootlegged shit?...My god!

Please help me keep people away
from buying from this person.

Morning Musings

This morning I found myself thinking about the drinking habits of the kids of now...Even when I was a teen, the drinking thing was pretty bad...Its funny when you hear 'new' studies showing that teen drinking is getting bad?...WTF It was already bad you douches.

Anyhows seriously kiddies don't go and kill your livers...After some years of experience... I can safely tell you.

To be safe
a) Know your limits, stick to them
b) Do NOT mix your drinks, if you are drinking spirits stick with them...if you are drinking beer stick to them so NOT mix them, it can end badly.
c) Drink water between drinks it should dissolve the alcohol in your stomach a little making it easier to process.
Its not Cool yo!
d) Don't think its cool to get totally smashed off your face. You don't know what you will do...You may end up beind raped...or be the one doing the raping. Beating whatever, its not cool.
e) If you think you are safe to drive, think again. Effectively your reaction time is pretty much halved. Do you really want to risk having the death or serious injury to your friends or other people hanging over your head?
f) I hope you don't think sitting and crying over things while your friends hold your hair so you don't puke in your hair is cool.
g) Drinking so much you feel like you are going to die...or at least feel like you want to die.

...Seriously I can think of so many more ways that its not cool to go and binge.

I don't see why its so cool to drink, sure the occasional drink is cool...but going over board it just plain stupid, just think about the damage you are doing to your brain...your liver your stomach and teeth (you vomit up bile, food and stomach acid)....

Oh yes I did my share of binge-ing back in the day...did my hand on being on the edge and shit. But I'm not in school anymore hey, don't have the pressure of having to be someone I may or may not be.

Anyhows just think a little before you start to go stupid drinking. If you are out be responsible and organise someone to drink or organise a taxi or something. Don't be stupid.

Copyright

Ok while myself I respect the copyright laws to a certain degree...(thus why i have a shit load of DVD's and CD's)...I also download from torrent trackers, which technically as considered ILLEGAL. Ok so taking that into account it really makes you wonder why Copyright law protectors and such (official corperations) get their knickers in a knot when trackers become too much. WHY not go after what makes us ABLE to share?...

Why bother?...Seriously...We all have something on our computers that goes against the copyright laws....

Why oh why?!...Do they give us the means (LEGALLY) to make MP3, AVI/MKV/OGM...etc...why do they allow us the be able to record from the DVD or copy movies from DVD to tape or HD etc.?...Hmmm?!...WTF?!...Its like the biggest fucken joke in the whole world. If they don't like their movies or music or whatever spread all over without being able to collect royalties (which they are entitled too) why not clamp down on places that releases "FREE RIP" programs?......Why allow places to releases HD/Settop boxes, DVD/VCR players that have the capibility to dupilcate things?....

Seriously though why do they let that slide?...Its the only reason that music/movies etc end up on the internet...BECAUSE WE AS CONSUMERS have the means to do so. I mean I have done my fair share of uploading and downloading, I TRY...and TRY REALLY hard to replace lots of what I have downloaded with DVD's or with the hard cover comics etc....But I as a single person only have so much money. I made a point after I got Great Teacher Onizuka (live-action, Dorama) from a friend fansubbed to BUY the Japanese released DVD's...the same with Hana Yori Dango...and many other live-action and anime series. I didn't stop there, I replaced a LOT of scanlations with the actual manga book, obviously though because I can't read Japanese I can't have a real opinion on the translation there...But on occasion I prefer the words that a scanlator group has used as opposed to what a company like ViZ or Tokyopop have chosen.

I would like to replace EVERYTHING that I have downloaded with official copies but do you have like an extra billion dollars laying around anywhere?...I sure as hell don't...If I like something enough that I have watched from download I will eventually BUY it...Which is what a few other people do as well...

Now I hope companies that follow places around and bust them for having © work on their sites pull theit thumbs out and stop shooting the middle man...And go after the big fish (i.e. Ashampoo, Microsoft....FREEWARE....etc.)

Thats just for media...if and what it comes to art...thats another story.

Workplace Agreements

Ok this is something that erks the CRAP out of my...If you are indeed on a work place agreement, you should NEVER be disadvantaged in anyway. It should be posted off to be registered with the government, once it has been accepted you should get a copy of your workplace agreement back along with a letter saying that it has been registered...Also it'll have a registration number on it. If not your employer is going against the law and breaking it.

A few members of my family have been caught out with this (my cousins)...

My parents run a business, Mum and my sister keep up to date with all the work place rule changes etc...Anyhows...this is technically how it should work.

1. You get the work place agreement, you are given a week to go over it. You CAN negotiate and ask questions about anything that you do not understand or agree with.
2. Once you have signed it and given it back to your employer they will post it off to the government department that handles the workplace agreements.
3. They will send a letter to the employer to give to you to say that yes it has been registered, the government also hold the right over the employer to question anything in that workplace agreement that looks to disadvantage the employee.
4. By law the employer should then give you a copy of that letter, or the letter itself with a copy of the work place agreement.

There are a lot of business out there that will rip people off and will bully their employees, normally young people who wouldn't know any different. There are a lot of places that will write up their own workplace agreements (which AREN'T official ones) and make you think you have done...and that you are on the AWARD...All workplace stipulations are supposed to be written along side the work place agreement and as I said before NOT to disadvantage the employee.

There have been so many debates and crap on this and how people either disagree or agree with it...*shakes head* No matter what people say John Howard has done a DAMN good job, even though he has made a few mistakes...He is HUMAN after all, we are all allowed to make mistakes...Heck everyone has probably made some pretty HUGE mistakes in their lives, Mr Howard is no different. He like any of us is just your average Joe...

Death Note

Well its partly about Death Note...its only the actions from people I will be talking about. If you are unfamiliar with whats happening you can go and read it for yourself.
http://kuro-hanasubs.com/?p=55#comments

Seriously you kids need to wake up...who cares if you don't see the last 2 eps until it officially gets released...You people need to think about the people who can and will possibly get into some MAJOR trouble because of them continueing to fansub...Does a court case and fraud like thing seem like an amusing thing to you? It must be since a lot of you are telling Kuro-Hana fansubs to ignire ViZ's letter and finish fan-subbing Death Note.

They are doing the right thing by themselves and by ViZ.

We don't know why ViZ has suddenly taken such heavy handed tact with this now...Maybe because they aren't getting the money in from people purcahsing their merchindise and instead going for the much cheaper opt and buying bootlegged stuff. Which never helps since that could can create a LOT of problems for the licenser and it also means you are NOT supporting the Japanese creator.

The people at ViZ work DAMN hard to get interesting titles and work hard at translating them (even if its not the best) and releasing it to the masses who may not be able to readily buy from outside their own country let along city.

You have to remember that everyone at ViZ have mouths to feed whether its just their own or a family, they do still have to survive...And still the fact lies...fansubs ARE ILLEGAL!...as are scanlations.

Boycotting ViZ isn't a good idea either, this could possibly set them into a bad place where they MAY have to lay people off of work becaue they can't afford to pay them...It may also land them financially in greater difficulty and force them to go out of business but still holding rights over the titles they have...Which in turn means you will all have to wait until their contract is up, or if they decide to sell it off to someone else to continue or start from the start again.

You dick heads need to think before you make stupid comments like "ignore ViZ" and "boycott them!"...Cos its is not helping the fansubbers cause or your own.

Whether they are able to make quick work and get the last ep done by the 22-06-2007 so people can see it or whether they decide to not and just go about removing all traces of Death Note from their site you all should continue to support them as best you can and also support the people who work hard to license stuff so it is easier to get hold of.

Cos unlike me some people do not have the means to buy from overseas, or they can but it is VERY expensive.

I also know that many of you even if you are a fan or not will most likely NOT replace the fansubs with the DVD...You are NOT supporting the creator at all by doing this...This whole thing really disgusts me and irks me to no end. Grow up people...This is how the world works...this is how business goes.

[edit]
...So it continues...Seems that there are suddenly 3 new groups who are going to do fansub the last 3 eps....Also there seems to be a troll on the Kuro Hana site writing some very nasty comments to people.

Save the Wolves

...Ya know just when I thought humanity and the human race where starting to understand and such...they prove me wrong and stick a huge damn spork in the whole thing.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/664280276?z00m=100874&ltl=1169350328

This is an email I got after donating some money towards this cause. Also I do believe that signing the petition above may help everyone get their voices heard.

Dear Friend,

Just days ago, Idaho state officials proposed to slash the price tag for killing a wolf in Idaho to only $9.75.

This comes on the heels of a formally released federal plan to lift wolf protections in Idaho and Wyoming -- two states that propose to exterminate as many wolves as possible within their borders.

It’s up to us to stop the wholesale slaughter of wolves in Idaho. Please support Defenders’ work to save our Northern Rockies wolves.

To jumpstart its wolf massacre, Idaho officials are proposing to offer a minimal price to entice the state’s hunters to participate in their plan to slaughter wolves. If gray wolves lose federal protection in Idaho, the price for a wolf’s life will be just $9.75.

And Idaho’s wolves will find no friend in Governor “Butch” Otter. In fact, Governor Otter is in the front of the line to take the first shot at these magnificent creatures. He recently addressed a rally of anti-wolf zealots, saying:

“I’m prepared to bid for that first ticket to shoot a wolf myself.”

In neighboring Wyoming, things are just as bad. As many as 2 out of every 3 wolves in the state could be killed, with unlimited killing in some wilderness areas.

We’re in for one of the toughest fights in years for our wolves -- and we need your help to save them.

Defenders is working hard to prevent the single biggest setback in wolf conservation in decades:
* We’re working with a broad coalition of nearly 30 conservation groups on the ground, speaking out for wolves and against Idaho and Wyoming’s wolf eradication plans.
* We’re calling on federal officials to hold additional public hearings and to extend by 30 days the period for public comments on this important issue so your voice can be heard.
* We’re analyzing the federal wolf delisting plan and crafting a detailed response.
* We’re working with ranchers and landowners in wolf country to find common sense solutions for wolves and people.

Already, over 50,000 people like you wrote to Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne to express outrage over the ill-conceived plan. And we’re preparing a massive mobilization around the official comment period on the delisting of Northern Rockies gray wolves.

To spread the word, we’ll be launching a sophisticated public education campaign and ambitious efforts to activate conservationists in the Northern Rockies. We will also call on you to help generate 200,000 public comments against this irresponsible proposal.

But we can’t do any of this important work without the help of people just like you who care about our wolves. Please support our work with your tax-deductible online gift.

Defenders was a leader in the successful effort to reintroduce wolves to Yellowstone and central Idaho. Now even these iconic animals are threatened by the reckless state plans in Idaho and Wyoming. If these wolves wander outside protected havens like Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, they could be shot on sight, under the states' proposals.

It will take a monumental effort to protect our Northern Rockies wolves. But with your help, we can make sure these animals are protected for future generations.

Thank you for all you do to protect our wildlife and wild places.

Sincerely,
Rodger Schlickeisen
President
Defenders of Wildlife

Internet vs. Real Life

I don't know why people feel that they have to put people down all the time, I've seen it happening more and more on the Internet. Maybe this next generation of children are too soft and desensitized...We expect them to act like grown ups at such a young age, they don't get a chance to really grow up and be a kid.

After reading one of my online friends journals saying that she had lied in her previous journal to get people off of her back, I just felt so upset and infuriated that she would have to do something like that. The difference between the type of emo complaining you hear from people and her is that she is bipolar, she can't help BUT feel like that, through no fault of her own, life becomes so overwhelming.

Its a sad fact of life...While bulling in schools is bad...even outside of school its bad bulling on the net (forums, blogs, specialised communities etc) it is becoming more and more frequent. What gives people the right to down someone?...Sure if you don't like em, but even so, if you don't like the person leave them alone, nothing can be gained by trolling the places that they are.

Which brings me to some of my 'friends'...they are all in their mid-late 30's even 40's and they act like CHILDREN!...There is something seriously WRONG with people if suddenly ZOMG someone did "daa da da" to me I will make their life miserable. Where in fact they are making the person they do not like their life, what is the point? I do not understand why people do this to themselves. Lost logic? Lost practically?

I see so many ugly things in this world its hard to remember the more beautiful aspects of life.

I guess some of the online bulling thing comes from the fact is that you can almost do it completely anon and you don't have to face the person, look at their face, stare into their eyes, see their expression...And take what ever consequences happen afterwards. While some probably unintentionally offend someone others purposely go and write nasty comments/messages to people.

This digital world is a trap, it makes things TOO easy for us...Like a young couple, the girl was at my house (this was a long time back) but she got a SMS from her boyfriend (at the time) and he was breaking up with her. She was crushed, we had to stay with her for a while and just sit and talk to her. What happened to saying this type of stuff face to face?...Are you scared that you will get talked into staying in that relationship or something? Really what happened to talking? Then again if you are like myself you are insecure and I don't really understand my feelings. I turned them off whilst I was in High School, well the more troublesome ones, I still just stressed, frustrated, angry and upset...Maybe more then I like to think.

People think they can know you from the Internet, which is totally crap! You can learn a little about a person, a little of what annoys them makes them happy makes them sparkle, but you will NEVER know the person. They could be completely different in person then they portray themselves online in journals, forums...

Things are too distant, too alien, we as people have become too detached from things. You do NOT live your life on the Internet you are you composed of 1's and 0's....Go out try and find something interesting, whether it is just admiring the sky. Go out find and meet people, if you get hurt along the way that is called life, you get hurt you get over it, move past it, use it to make you a much better person a stronger person. If you are scared don't think you are the only ones, everyone is scared, just some people have more confidence than others. Its something you have to work on, its not something that you just magically have.

First Post

Hey all,

Welcome to my Blogger, I am hoping to keep this blog for more thoughtful revalations and thoughts...Instead of having this place for whinging, thats what my Live Journal is for >D...

Anyhows stay tune...I will hopefully be able to get some time to go through all the documents saved into a sorting folder and pull out a few old High School projects to possibly expand on...Or to share with you all.

Just to let you know I'm 22 years old, female...Who doesn't really like to ever take into consideration ones gender. Neither gay, bi or straight...Just no interest. Though that in itself is a little bit of a lie, I go in and out of trends....I apparently have a fiancee XD;....Thanks to my Aunty and Uncle who have lined up a nice Korean guy for me. Nothing serious, haven't met though I am interested (thats only because he's Korean)...Er I'm Korean too :D I was born there and adopted by my parents and live in Australia.

Just a little bit to keep you all going so you don't die from boredom.

take care,
Akuinnen
